0.4.4
Fixed
- Screen sharing (Go Live): clicking "Share your screen" crashed Discord's UI
(Cannot read properties of null (reading 'Modal')). A Discord update renamed the dialog component the screen
share picker is built on; Larpcord now finds it the same way current Vencord does. This also fixes every other
dialog that uses it.
0.4.3
Fixed
- The "Own activities" switch in Hub → Activity couldn't be turned off while no own activity was set.
Added
- Crash details: when Discord's UI crashes ("Discord has crashed! Attempting to recover…"), the notice now shows
the error, and clicking it copies the full details. They are also always written to the console (Ctrl+Shift+I).
This helps tracking down the crash when starting a screen share – please send us the text if it happens to you.
0.4.2
Fixed
- "Open my real profile" in the hub didn't open anything: Larpcord now closes the settings first and then opens
Discord's real profile (with a fallback if Discord changes the call). - Larp accounts all showed the profile picture of the active account. Each account now shows its own picture
(Nitro tab → animated avatar of that account), or your real Discord picture if it has none.
Added
- Screen sharing diagnostics: if "Share your screen" fails, Larpcord now shows the reason in a notice and in the
console (Ctrl+Shift+I) instead of failing silently.
0.4.1
Changed
- Hub preview closer to the real profile: verified check, owner crown and clan tag are the exact same elements as
on your profile, connections use Discord's own platform icons and verified icon, and your larp roles of the server
that is open right now show up as role pills. - New button "Open my real profile" under the preview: opens Discord's actual profile with every larp setting
applied, 1:1.
0.4.0
Added
- Larp accounts (new): several complete larp profiles with separate settings that you switch between like real
accounts - right in Discord's account switcher, below your real accounts. Optional Discord-style loading screen
when switching. Presets are shared by all larp accounts, and your real profile is one click away.
Existing settings become your first larp account automatically. Nothing is sent to Discord.
Fixed
- Screen sharing (Go Live): clicking "Share your screen" could do nothing while a larp activity was set: Discord's
stream setup could pick up the larp activity as if it were a running game. Functional lookups now only see your
real activities. Larp activities still show up everywhere they are displayed.
0.3.0
Added
- Connections (new): add made-up connected accounts (Steam, Spotify, GitHub, Twitch, Xbox and more) to your
profile with any name, an optional account ID and a verified check. Optionally hide your real connections.
Not linked to any real account, only visible on your PC. - Clan tag, verified check and owner crown now sit right next to your name on your profile.
- The hub preview now also shows your activity and connections.
- Website in
site/(static, deploy on Vercel with rootsite): new tools, a live “try it” preview,
download, comparison with regular Discord and a privacy page. - Releases additionally include
Larpcord-Setup.zip(the setup .exe as a ZIP), which the website links to.
Fixed
- Name style: changing the font, effect or colors now updates the hub preview right away, and Discord re-renders
your name immediately. - Activities didn't show up in the client after a Discord update changed the presence store; they now hook in
independently of Discord's exact method signature. - Profile music files could get lost after saving because their ID was sanitized incorrectly.
Changed
- English is now the main language of the project: website, README, changelog, release notes and repository
docs are in English. Other languages (currently German) remain selectable in the client.
0.2.0
Neu
