New beta version fixing the major compatibility issues with Rhino 8. The Grasshopper interface is still based on the old IronPython editor and will show the "old" mark in Rhino 8, but all functionality should now be working despite that.
New Features:
- The Update File component now allows the specify a sub-folder where the Wasp user-objects are installed, which allows you to store them in sub-folders.
Bug fixes:
- The Part Catalog failed when rules did not allow to place any additional part from the catalog, placing random parts which were not contained in the catalog. This is fixed.
- Support Constraints and Adjacency/Exclusion Constraints would not work in Rhino 8, this is fixed.
- GEO input on the Connection from Direction component would fail with certain geometry types. Now the component forces automatic conversion of all input geometry to mesh.
- Previous versions allowed to use special reserved characters (" ", "_", "|", ">") in part names, this would now cause the components to return an error.
- In the Wasp library code, all xrange() calls have been replaced with range(), allowing full compatibility with Python 3.
