Add to your MODULE.bazel file:

bazel_dep(name = "rules_dart", version = "0.7.0")

0.7.0

Breaking

  • dart_test runs package:test tests under its runner; --test_filter and shard_count work
  • dart_test reports each package:test case in Bazel's test report
  • dart_test is limited by Bazel's timeout rather than package:test's 30 s default
  • dart_test requires package:test directly in deps when the test uses it
  • dart_test fails a test without package:test when given --test_filter or shard_count
  • Removed dart_analyze_test; the dart_analyze aspect analyzes each target bazel test builds
  • dart_analysis_config lists a repository's analysis_options.yaml; each file uses its nearest
  • no-dart-analyze tag skips a target's analysis
  • dart_fix fixes only its target's own files, with the options the aspect uses
  • Removed dart_fix.options and dart_fix.lib; set @rules_dart//dart:analysis_config
  • Removed dart_format_test; the dart_analyze aspect's dart_format group checks formatting
  • The format check uses each file's nearest listed options and its package's language version
  • no-dart-format tag skips a target's format check

Added

  • dart_format formats workspace files under bazel run with the settings the check uses
  • Gazelle generates dart_analysis_options and the root dart_analysis_config
  • Executable rules accept package, package_name and language_version, as dart_library does
  • dart_analysis_test checks named targets bazel test //... cannot reach

Fixed

  • Successful dart_binary builds and Dart analysis and format checks print nothing
  • The dart extension prints a note only when the root module's dart_version is overridden
