New tools for looking under the hood, plus one fix.
New
- View source. Open the menu on any page and tap View source to see its markup. Copy it with the button at the top.
- Text files open in Eddy. Downloaded text files (.txt, .json, .html, .csv, .log and similar) open in the same viewer instead of needing another app.
- App logs. Settings › Advanced › App logs shows what Eddy has been logging, newest first, with errors in red. If a site misbehaves, copying this into a bug report helps a lot. It also lists which requests the ad and tracker blocker stopped. (#2)
Fixes
- Some downloaded files didn't open in other apps when the site sent their file type in unusual capitalization.
eddy-0.6.9-beta.apk is the normal build. eddy-0.6.9-beta-fdroid.apk is the same app without the developer-tools panel; F-Droid rebuilds it from source and checks it matches. Both are signed with the same key as previous releases, so you can switch between them.
