Features
The home page shows the top trending movies and TV shows as rows of poster cards. A Today / This Week toggle switches each row between the day's and the week's trends, and reloads it straight away.

Search looks through movies and TV shows at the same time and shows the results as poster cards. Starting a new search cancels any search still loading, so results never arrive out of order.

Clicking a poster opens a details panel with:
- Overview, release date and runtime
- Genres
- Age rating (movie certification or TV content rating)
- Key cast and crew, such as the director, writers and creators
- An embedded trailer
The panel gathers this from several TMDB requests at once, so it loads quickly.

A curated section on the home page lists titles along with links to where they can be watched for free. The list is stored in assets/ftw-json.txt, so titles can be added or removed without touching the code.
The TMDB key never reaches the browser. Every request goes through a small Node.js server that adds the key on the way out. See API Proxy.
