@archer-clawbot archer-clawbot released this 29 Aug 14:06

Hermarchy v1.0.0 is the first public-distribution release of the restrained research-workstation theme for Omarchy.

Base theme

  • Near-black, graphite, warm-white, and semantic-cyan visual system.
  • Omarchy v4 colors and native Quickshell surface styling.
  • Coordinated launcher, terminal/editor, Chromium, notifications, Hyprlock, btop, icons, and legacy Waybar accents.
  • Three original 3840×2400 wallpapers and a transparent lock mark.
  • Documented install, activation, wallpaper, update, switch-away, and removal flows.

Optional agent integration

  • Explicitly opt-in Hermes state adapter and user-local Quickshell widget.
  • Compact semantic bar indicator with a validated click-open details panel.
  • Muted unavailable/unknown behavior when Hermes or trusted state is absent.
  • Documented install, no-enable, upgrade, reinstall, recovery, disable, and removal paths.
  • No package-owned Omarchy, Quickshell, Hyprland, or Hermes runtime changes.

Tested environment

  • Omarchy 4.0.1-1
  • Quickshell 0.3.1-1
  • Hyprland 0.56.2
  • Arch Linux x86_64

The release gate included a fresh public-URL install, activation, wallpaper cycling, optional install with Hermes absent and present, exact upgrade from the previously published revision, reinstall, disable, removal, theme restoration, 88 Python tests, 9 QML tests, real Omarchy plugin validation, package-integrity checks, and public-safety/visual review.

Known limitations

  • Omarchy v3 and non-Omarchy distributions are not claimed as supported.
  • The optional plugin requires the Omarchy v4 Quickshell plugin API on Linux.
  • Hermarchy does not install or configure Hermes.
  • Waybar support is a manual legacy helper, not the native Omarchy v4 path.
  • Completed and failed agent states are intentionally temporary.

Full installation, compatibility, and release details are in the repository README, docs/, and CHANGELOG.md.
