ModelDock v0.3.73
Fixes
- Preserve the saved vision model and provider across gateway restarts and ON-mode activation. A saved native choice is no longer replaced by the main external provider, a stale inherited environment variable, or a temporarily unavailable sign-in. A deliberate None remains None.
- Resolve configuration inside an isolated state directory. Development and test gateways no longer fall through to the installed user's .env when saving settings.
- Remove the managed-local 70% auto-compaction exception. Local models now use the shared 80% rule based on the final effective context window, including user context edits. Retired snapshot overrides are ignored and removed on reconciliation.
- Add built-bundle restart/routing tests, browser selection/reload checks, and cross-consumer local catalog regression coverage.
Upgrade notes
- If an earlier version already replaced your preferred vision selection, select the desired provider and model once after upgrading; the old lost choice cannot be inferred safely.
- Restart Codex after upgrading to load the updated local compaction declaration. For a 235,776-token effective window, the shared threshold is 188,620 tokens.
This release does not require changing your model file, GPU split, or KV storage settings.
