Ari v0.1.0
Pre-releaseAri v0.1.0
Ari v0.1.0 is the first public baseline release of Ari, an experimental AI-first systems language targeting LLVM.
Ari explores a systems-language design space around explicit ownership, region-based memory, traits, generics, ADT-style enums, pattern matching, modules, C FFI, and native code generation without a hidden runtime.
Purpose of this release
This release creates the first pinned snapshot of the Ari compiler, standard library, language surface, and tooling.
The goal of v0.1.0 is not production stability.
The goal is to provide a stable starting point for testing, ecosystem work, and future bootstrap experiments.
What is included
- Initial C++ hosted Ari compiler baseline
- LLVM-based native code generation
- Linux x86-64 ELF target focus
- Core executable language support
- Modules, structs, enums, pattern matching, traits, generics, ownership, borrowing, and C FFI foundations
- Source standard library snapshot
- Compiler artifact outputs for diagnostics, syntax, source maps, module graphs, typed IR, and related inspection paths
- Early lint, LSP, editor, documentation, and test infrastructure
- Release artifact suitable as a pinned compiler seed for future bootstrap work
Notes
This is a large initial baseline release rather than an incremental update from a previous stable version.
For build, install, usage, and development instructions, see the repository README and docs.
This release does not claim self-hosting, production stability, or language/ABI stability yet.
