EdgeLite Panel v1.3.0

Choose a tag to compare

@arionacc arionacc released this 07 Oct 00:36

Changed

  • Page swipes are now softer and slower: the page glides into place in about half a second without bouncing, and bounces slightly when you pull past the first or last page.
  • Page contents now trail slightly behind the page while it moves and appear from behind its edge, which gives the swipe more depth.
  • Taps are only ignored while the page is still clearly moving. Once it is almost in place, taps and a new swipe work again.

EdgeLite Panel v1.2.9

@arionacc arionacc released this 06 Oct 23:32

Changed

  • The Volume and Brightness sliders are now a single wide bar instead of two thin bars side by side. Use the switch to change between Volume and Brightness.
  • Changing mode now has a transition: the old bar slides out and fades while the new one slides in, and the percentage and name fade with it.
  • Swiping between panel pages is softer and smoother, and pages are cached while they move so fading stays fluid even with many icons.
  • The inactive bar is now hidden instead of dimmed.

EdgeLite Panel v1.2.8

Choose a tag to compare

@arionacc arionacc released this 06 Oct 12:12
9533f5e

Changed

  • Swiping between panel pages now feels like a launcher home screen: the page follows your finger without jumping, pulls back like rubber at the first and last page, and glides into place with a spring that continues the speed of your swipe.
  • The page animation no longer depends on the system animation scale.

Fixed

  • The page slide animation could start from the wrong side, which made it look like there was no animation at all.

EdgeLite Panel v1.2.7

Choose a tag to compare

@arionacc arionacc released this 06 Oct 11:43
b8113d6

Added

  • The slider page now shows the value of the selected slider as a percentage, with its name (Volume or Brightness) below it.

Changed

  • The panel no longer shrinks on the slider page. The sliders now stretch to the full panel height, so the panel keeps the same size on every page.
  • Only the slider chosen with the Volume/Brightness switch is active. The other one is dimmed and ignores touches until you switch to it. Touching a slider no longer selects it.
  • The name labels under each slider were replaced by the shared percentage and name shown below both.

Fixed

  • Swiping across the sliders can no longer change the inactive slider by accident, for example brightness while you are on Volume.

EdgeLite Panel v1.2.5

Choose a tag to compare

@arionacc arionacc released this 06 Oct 05:03
dc00720

Added

  • Volume and Brightness page: up and down buttons to adjust by tap (hold to repeat), and a selector to choose which one they control. Touching a slider selects it too.
  • Added a key sign feature, so you don't need to uninstall the app anymore when you update it.

Changed

  • On short panels, the sliders now shrink automatically so everything fits.

EdgeLite Panel v1.2.4

@arionacc arionacc released this 06 Oct 04:26

Fixed

  • The Volume slider now works on phones that ignore the standard volume command. If the volume still can't be changed, a short message tells you.

EdgeLite Panel v1.2.3

Choose a tag to compare

@arionacc arionacc released this 06 Oct 04:04
d9522a3

Added

  • Volume and Brightness now have their own page in the panel. Swipe sideways to reach it, then drag the vertical sliders.

Changed

  • Volume and Brightness sliders moved out of the quick access list into a separate third page, drawn as tall vertical bars side by side. The page dots follow the number of pages.
  • On the slider page the panel shrinks to fit the sliders instead of stretching to the full panel height. It returns to the normal height on the other pages.

Fixed

  • Swiping between pages no longer changes volume or brightness by accident. A slider now only reacts when you drag along it, and sideways swipes just change the page. A short tap on a slider still sets the value.
  • Taps made while the page is still sliding are now ignored, so they no longer hit icons or sliders by mistake.
  • Sideways swipes that are slightly diagonal are now recognized more easily.
  • The "Modify system settings" permission for Brightness is now only requested when you actually use the slider.

EdgeLite Panel v1.2.1

Choose a tag to compare

@arionacc arionacc released this 06 Oct 03:24
d9522a3

Added

  • Volume and Brightness sliders on the quick access page. Drag them right from the panel.
  • Flashlight, Auto-rotate, and Vibrate mode toggles that light up when they are on.
  • Media controls: Play/Pause, Next track, and Previous track.
  • Screen recording shortcut. It opens a screen recorder app already on your phone, which you can choose in the Quick access category. On Samsung without another recorder installed, it opens Quick settings, where the built-in recorder lives.

Changed

  • The page indicator dots moved to the bottom of the panel, so they no longer cover the first icon. The panel size does not change.
  • Brightness and Auto-rotate ask for the "Modify system settings" permission the first time you use them. No other permission was added.
  • Export and import now include the chosen recorder app.

EdgeLite Panel v1.1.1

Choose a tag to compare

@arionacc arionacc released this 05 Oct 23:30
3c6b257

Added

  • Quick access page. Swipe the panel sideways to open a second page
    with system shortcuts: notifications, quick settings, recent apps,
    home, back, screenshot, lock screen, and power menu. Choose them in
    the new "Quick access" category in settings. The panel size does not
    change, and nothing is added until you pick shortcuts.

EdgeLite Panel v1.0.6

@arionacc arionacc released this 04 Oct 23:49
c4c2d6d

Added

  • Per-app window shape. Tap an app in the panel apps list to choose
    Auto, Portrait only, Landscape only, or Exact size, for apps that
    lock their orientation in code.
  • "App fit" setting (Auto or Exact) for the floating window. Apps that
    only support portrait get a window that is never wider than tall and
    stays inside the size you set, instead of being swapped by the system.
  • The window preview now shows the size in dp, the system bars, and a
    dashed outline for portrait-only apps.

Changed

  • Window percentages are measured from the usable screen area, so the
    window no longer overlaps the status and navigation bars.
  • Window size follows the current resolution and display size.
