No notification with a body was delivered on 0.7.0. Slack does not accept
blocks inside an attachment, so every one of them was rejected and dropped.

Fixed

  • Bodies were sent as markdown blocks inside an attachment, which Slack always
    rejects with internal_error, so no notification with a body was posted.
    Convert GitHub Flavored Markdown to Slack mrkdwn instead (#354)
  • A notification could be dropped without the channel, the link or the reason
    reaching the log, leaving nothing to investigate (#351)
  • A transient Slack error dropped the notification instead of being retried
    (#352)
  • Content-Type did not declare the charset, so the encoding of a non-ASCII
    body was left to Slack to guess (#355)

Changed

  • Take the log level from RUST_LOG, and log the fields needed to tell why a
    notification was dropped (#353)
