Releases: arm092/ghi-quality
Release list
v0.1.1
Packaging correction for arm092/ghi-quality.
The Linux and macOS tar archives now store the ghi-quality executable with mode 0755. Version v0.1.0 archives stored mode 0666, making extracted Unix binaries non-executable. Use v0.1.1; v0.1.0 is superseded. CLI behavior and source commit are unchanged.
All six Windows/macOS/Linux amd64/arm64 archives were rebuilt from the same source. SHA256 values are in checksums.txt. Verified tar metadata for Linux and macOS with mode 0755. In a Linux amd64 Alpine container, the downloaded-style tar extraction yielded an executable binary; the tool ran and rejected a symlinked .ghi source without changing its target. Windows compiler integration and fresh consumer checks against published Ghi0.2.9 remain passing from v0.1.0. Native macOS execution is not verified.
v0.1.0
Superseded by v0.1.1: Linux and macOS tar archives in v0.1.0 lacked executable permission. Use v0.1.1 for all platforms.
First release of the standalone arm092/ghi-quality CLI.
Commands: lint, fix, format, format --check, run, run --dry-run. No check subcommand.
The tool uses Ghi v0.2.9+ syntax analysis JSON and canonical ghi fmt. Initial conservative rules cover unused import aliases/locals/parameters, direct-block unreachable statements, empty catch, identical if conditions/branches, and configurable naming. Severity/exclusions in quality.json; text/JSON output and CI exit statuses.
Safe fixes are intentionally narrow: rename an unreferenced simple parameter of a concrete top-level function to _, and apply canonical formatting. Changes are staged and validated before writing. No import, catch, branch, or unreachable-code deletion. The analyzer is syntax-only; run ghi check independently for semantic validation.
Verified on Windows amd64 with the checksum-verified published Ghi v0.2.9: unit and compiler integration tests, go vet, real format/lint/run/dry-run, post-fix ghi check, conflict preservation, and JSON findings. Windows, macOS, and Linux amd64/arm64 binaries cross-built locally with Go 1.26.3. macOS/Linux binaries have not been run on their host platforms. Windows symlink creation was unavailable, so runtime symlink rejection remains unverified there. No hosted Actions were used.
