Accel 0.6.7

Choose a tag to compare

@arnaud-sintes arnaud-sintes released this 22 Oct 08:32

Fixes

  • The model list in "Create session" can no longer come out mangled (e.g. Sonnet 5.5up, Haiku 5.5g, or a usage meter in a description). Accel now rebuilds Claude Code's /model screen with a much more faithful terminal emulator, waits for the chat prompt before sending any key, reads the picker twice and requires both reads to agree, and rejects any scrape that does not pass validation instead of trying to repair it. A bad list is never saved, and a bad saved list from an older version is ignored and re-read.
  • The models now appear in the same order as Claude Code's own picker, and 1M-context variants are offered as their own entries.
  • Pickers with ten or more rows are read correctly.

Improved

  • If Claude Code's model list cannot be read, Accel falls back to its built-in list, remembers the failure for 24 hours (or until Claude Code is updated) instead of repeating the ~45 s scan at every start, and the model picker's tooltip explains what happened. A redacted accel-model-catalog.rejected.txt is written next to the cache for diagnosis.

Accel 0.6.6

Choose a tag to compare

@arnaud-sintes arnaud-sintes released this 22 Oct 06:31

Fixes

  • "Open terminal here" no longer fails with "Access is denied" on machines where Windows refuses to reopen the new shell process to watch it. The terminal now opens, and Accel still notices when the shell exits (the tab then shows as ended).

Accel 0.6.5

Choose a tag to compare

@arnaud-sintes arnaud-sintes released this 22 Oct 06:01

New

  • Accel now remembers the tabs that were open when you close it, and offers to restore them (sessions, terminals and files, in the same order) the next time it starts.
  • A new terminal opens right next to its project's session tabs instead of at the far end of the tab strip.
  • Clicking a file tab now shows the project that hosts the file in the Sessions panel.

Fixes

  • "Open terminal here" no longer fails with "AssignProcessToJobObject failed" on machines where Windows refuses to put the shell into Accel's process job. The terminal opens anyway (it is simply not auto-killed if Accel itself crashes), and the error now includes the Windows error code.
  • The Sessions panel no longer keeps scrolling back to the open session while Claude is working and you are scrolling it by hand.

Accel 0.6.4

Choose a tag to compare

@arnaud-sintes arnaud-sintes released this 20 Oct 11:39

New

  • The terminal now has a clearly visible, usable scrollbar. In a normal shell you can drag the thumb or click the track; in Claude Code's full-screen mode (which has no scrollback of its own) it shows up/down arrow buttons that scroll the transcript.

Fixes

  • Markdown preview now renders tables (plus task lists and strikethrough).
  • Switching between session tabs no longer carries the previous tab's terminal state (full-screen mode, mouse wheel handling) over to the next one; each tab is brought back to its own state when selected.

Accel 0.6.3

Choose a tag to compare

@arnaud-sintes arnaud-sintes released this 15 Oct 09:04

New

  • Tabs in the strip can now be rearranged by drag and drop.

Fixes

  • Reduced UI lag (e.g. a slow right-click menu on a folder): the sessions tree is now refreshed on a background thread instead of blocking the interface.

Accel 0.6.2

Choose a tag to compare

@arnaud-sintes arnaud-sintes released this 14 Oct 06:08

Fixes

  • The model picker in Create session now offers each model's full effort range (low to max) instead of only "max". The cause was how Accel read the effort levels out of Claude Code's /model picker; the cached model list is rediscovered automatically on first launch.

Accel 0.6.1

Choose a tag to compare

@arnaud-sintes arnaud-sintes released this 02 Oct 06:27

New

  • Focusing a tab now selects its session in the Sessions panel and expands its project folder.

Fixes

  • Mouse wheel in a Claude Code session scrolls the chat again instead of navigating the prompt history. Accel forwards the wheel to the app as mouse-wheel reports while it is in full-screen mode; text selection stays native.
  • The temporary message shown after removing a session (and other transient warnings) now floats over the window instead of pushing the whole layout down.

Accel 0.6.0

@arnaud-sintes arnaud-sintes released this 01 Oct 06:27

New

  • Terminal font size can be changed with Ctrl+= / Ctrl+- / Ctrl+0 and Ctrl+mouse wheel; the size is remembered across restarts (accel-ui.json). Contributed by Regis Merlino.
  • Text in the terminal can now be selected with the mouse without holding Shift. Accel turns off the mouse reporting that full-screen CLIs such as Claude Code enable. To get the old behaviour back, set "terminalNativeSelection": false in %USERPROFILE%\.claude\accel-ui.json.
  • Visual Studio launch profiles for debugging (Accel debug, and one on port 40011 to run alongside an installed copy).

Fixes

  • Model picker with Claude Code 2.1.285: models are now named correctly in the Create Session dialog (e.g. "Sonnet 5.5" instead of its description), and selecting a versioned model no longer fails with "There's an issue with the selected model". Versioned models are launched by their dashed id (e.g. claude-sonnet-5-5).
  • Accel no longer leaves a throwaway /model session behind in one of your project folders each time it discovers the available models.

Accel 0.5.4

@arnaud-sintes arnaud-sintes released this 25 Sep 11:17

Fixes the model picker in the Create Session dialog showing raw description prose (e.g. "Best for everyday, complex tasks") instead of the model name, when the picker's text didn't include the expected separator between the version and its description.

Accel 0.5.3

@arnaud-sintes arnaud-sintes released this 25 Sep 09:17

Fixes the Claude console's first column intermittently filling with garbled characters, mostly while scrolling. The terminal was treating ConPTY's "move down one row" line feeds as "go to the start of the next line", so text meant for further right on the row overwrote its first characters (typically the ⏺/● bullets), and they were never redrawn.
