Hello, first of all, I want to wish you happy holidays, and I would like to know if there is a way to check if this configuration worked. How could I verify it? If anything is missing, I just started an instance on MeiliSearch, added the master key, and created an index called "movies." I'm not sure if I need to do anything else, like creating a "movies" database or adding fields. Sorry, I'm a bit lost with these things. Could you help me?

tldr: your configuration is working, if the meilisearchOk says true, then it should working.

for the meilisearch index name field, index is a term in Meilisearch, which kinda like "database name", that field is for re-use one Meilisearch instance against multiple Jellyfin instance

to check if it working:

• one of the most intuitive way is to search something and to see if it faster, but I noticed you have the Fallback to Jellyfin option enabled, which may cause it still slow when meilisearch returns nothing.
• If the meilisearchOk in status says true, then it should working.
• Also from your screenshot, the averageSearchTime is not zero also means it handled some requests already.
• If you want to check the request is really handled by this plugin, you can try search something and check the response header of the /Items?userId=xxxxxx endpoint, there should be a x-meilisearch-result field in the response header, like the following screenshot, if the plugin has ever handled the request (even if there are no search results returned by meilisearch).

If you use docker to host your meilisearch instance, one way to verify by attaching to the docker container running the meilisearch. Then you can see the meilisearch output information as you type in the jellyfin search.

Another way is look at the search results. The speed of searching for me is very fast even in the stock jellyfin search, so it is hard to tell by speed alone. However, the results were different. Meilisearch returns a lot more results. So you can disable the plugin and run some searches. Then turn it on and run the same searches and see if the results change.
