Symlink Creator 2.0.1 is a reliability and usability update following the recent 2.0.0 release.
What鈥檚 improved in 2.0.1
- [Fix] Startup options now work consistently in both the WinGet and portable ZIP versions, whether launched from a terminal or a Windows shortcut.
- [Enhancement] Added the
--theme dark|lightstartup option to select a light or dark theme for an individual launch. - [Enhancement] Improved button layout and text wrapping for localized interface labels.
- [Enhancement] The interface now remains responsive during symlink creation, displays a busy indicator, and disables conflicting controls until the operation finishes.
- [Enhancement] Failure messages now identify the affected link and report how many links were created successfully beforehand.
- [Fix] Elevated script execution now works when a script path contains a percent (
%) sign.
