· Address limited output/input scope?

• current limited to device units - co-opt as "default" devices for audio output classes? MUSIC unit becomes default audio output/input (what about inputs/outputs on different device combinations?), separate units to "select" default comms, etc, audio unit(s)?

· add separate library with interface to mixers for installed hardware? have drivers register a handler that can be access via the library to adjust mixer settings (volume, etc).

· Better multichannel support? Currently limited to 7.1 only as a multichannel option.
