Mural 0.1.12

@arsamasif arsamasif released this 14 Oct 19:32

Mural 0.1.12

  • Multi-path animations: give one picture several AI paths. Playback picks a path, plays it out and back to frame 1, rests, then picks another. Choose random or in-order, set a pause on frame 1, and generate holds (idle motion that stays in place) for the rests. Paths generate in the background while the layer keeps playing.
  • The current viewport is always outlined and labelled on the canvas.
  • Release hardening: in-app dialogs replace browser prompts that never worked in Electron (rename path/animation, re-extract); delete confirmations for wallpapers and animations; unsaved-work recovery after a crash or forced close; typing a colour or clearing a number can no longer crash the editor; undo now works after dragging and merges slider bursts; Save no longer cancels running AI jobs; the editor picks up changes made with Edit on desktop; deleted wallpapers are cleaned out of playlists and per-display settings; playlist skips missing wallpapers; crash handlers in every process and a self-healing wallpaper renderer; atomic settings and library writes.
  • Drag and drop pictures or videos onto the canvas to add them (several pictures become a sequence).
  • Shortcuts: Ctrl+D duplicate, arrow keys nudge (Shift = 10 px), Escape deselects, Ctrl+[ / ] reorder; shortcuts stay out of the way while a dialog is open.
  • The floating layer action bar is gone; use the right-click menu, the corner handles and the properties panel.
  • The editor remembers its window size, position and maximized state between runs.
  • Moving a Cover or Fit layer now sticks: it no longer snaps back to the centre when applied to the desktop or when another property changes.
  • Desktop icons: a small button in the bottom-right corner of the desktop hides and shows all icons with one click (also in the tray and desktop right-click menu). Arrange icons around the wallpaper moves them into a tidy block on the calmest side of the picture, away from widgets, text and the subject; it can run automatically on every apply, and Restore puts them back.

Crop and resize pictures, videos and animations on the canvas (crop editor with canvas-shape preset, corner resize handles). My animations library: every AI animation and sliced video is saved for reuse in any wallpaper. Dialogs centred over the canvas.

@arsamasif arsamasif released this 14 Oct 16:40

High-resolution animation (1080p, 1440p, 4K) now runs on LTX-2.5 and works for landscape and portrait pictures; the previous high-res model was failing every job. Source pictures are uploaded to the provider instead of embedded in the request.

Mural 0.1.8

@arsamasif arsamasif released this 14 Oct 16:30

High-resolution animation (1080p+) now works with any picture shape: the HD model renders 16:9 only, so other shapes are letterboxed over a blurred fill instead of failing. Credit rates for 1080p/1440p/4K lowered to match provider prices.

Mural 0.1.7

@arsamasif arsamasif released this 14 Oct 16:26

Fixes high-resolution (1080p+) animation failing with 'downstream service error': the source picture is sent as a compact JPEG, and a provider hiccup is retried once automatically.

Mural 0.1.6

AI generation runs in the background: the layer appears as a Generating card right away and fills in when done. Failed video jobs refund their credits.

Mural 0.1.5

@arsamasif arsamasif released this 14 Oct 16:15

Fixes 1080p/1440p/4K animation failing with 'returned no clip' (LTX-2 request format). Clearer error details from the video service.

Subtle animations: generate clips as short as 9 frames, keep an exact number of frames (e.g. 3), play back as slow as 1 fps. Re-extract can thin an existing clip.

Mural 0.1.3

@arsamasif arsamasif released this 14 Oct 16:02

Clip length is now chosen in frames (25-121 at 480p/720p, snapped to the model's 8n+1 rule; 151/201/251 at 1080p and up). Credits are priced by the resulting length.
