Void.INC | 1.1.2 Leak
Pre-releaseThings are definitely going slower now compared to the 1.0.x day, which is the result of working on projects other than Void.INC (not No Name). Have this small leak first:
Now the serious talk. If you've seen my portfolio, you'd probably get why I'm not focusing much on Void.INC currently, because, in all honesty, Void.INC is fine as is, and the future content is optional for me to add. I've already reached my goal of finishing the entirety of 1.0.x in under a month after the release of 1.0.0; however, though uncertain about when updates may release, Void.INC will continue to receive updates until I myself explicitly say otherwise.
If you still enjoy Void.INC, regardless, thank you. I appreciate you for following this far, and perhaps onwards into the uncertain future this game may have.
While we're here, I'll just answer a basic question:
What exactly is it that you are doing other than working on Void.INC/No Name?
As of recently, I have actually been trying out language development and am currently deep into theory. I don't intend to drop my progress currently, since I have everything working syntactically and am in the process of creating libraries for the language. As I said here, "If you've seen my portfolio, you'd probably get why I'm not focusing much on Void.INC", I was referring to the private project in my repository tab called DeLang.
So, what exactly am I developing DeLang for, and what will be its use case? Well, it'd actually replace C++/SFML for me once complete. DeLang will keep C++'s performance and features, but being syntactically different, because, I'll admit, I hate writing C++ syntax. And after the base language is done, I will write my own version of SFML for DeLang to specifically keep/add features that I would need, because I don't want anything unnecessary.
Maybe if I ever decide to rewrite Void.INC (2.0.x) in 5 years or something, it'd be in DeLang, who knows. Only time can tell. See you guys around until the next note/log from me.
