v0.5.1
Paneflow 0.5.1
A Windows polish patch on top of 0.5.0. Linux and macOS are unchanged.
Fixed
- No more stray console window on Windows.
paneflow.exeis now a GUI-subsystem binary, so launching it from Explorer, a shortcut or the Start Menu no longer pops an empty extra terminal window beside the app. The scriptable CLI still works —paneflow mcp install, paneflow lsand--versionre-attach to the parent console when run from a terminal. - The right icon, everywhere on Windows. The bare
paneflow.exenow embeds the multi-resolution PaneFlow icon instead of falling back to the generic Windows icon in Explorer, and the installer's Start Menu shortcut and Add-or-Remove-Programs entry now show the new logo — the 0.5.0 MSI still shipped the old one. The icon build pipeline mirrors the installer icon on every run, so it can no longer go stale.
Documentation
- Refreshed the Windows install docs for the signed
.msi: the native installer is now documented as an available path (WSL2 kept as the alternative), with a SmartScreen "Run anyway" walkthrough (publisher: StriveX) and signature-verification steps, replacing the stale "no native build / Q3 2026" framing.
