Surveys how OpenHands, Devin, Cursor, Aider, and the AGENTS.md standard deliver persistent discipline to a containerised agent + the skills-vs-MCP decision literature. Six-option verdict table (a-f), upstream T16 problem-class table, recommended operator(mount)+shipped(committed skill-context) composition. Independently corroborates the sibling patch's B+D recommendation: every "know"-class upstream converges on commit-the-discipline-into-the-repo; MCP-skills-server REJECT (know-vs-do mismatch + 35x token overhead); volume mount matches operator axis only. Strategy forks (worker-vs-orchestrator scope, mount-in-scope) surfaced as I-phase open questions / deferred to sibling DN-1/2/3 — not decided here (reviewer-discipline §2).
