Orrery 0.6.0
What's new in 0.6.0
StepCode joins the board. Orrery now reads StepCode's sessions (~/.stepcode/agent/sessions) alongside the other eight tools: titles, projects, models, tokens and disk size. Subagent runs are folded into the session that started them, so a long run shows as one row. You can delete StepCode sessions from Orrery and resume them in a terminal.
Two things worth knowing about StepCode: it has no live-session registry, so its sessions always show as idle; and its CLI can only resume a session by file path (every id form was tried and none is found), so resume looks the file up for you, and asks for a rescan if the file has moved. Token counts were checked against an independent re-sum of the real session files: four buckets, call count, folded subagents and size all agree.
A new icon. The app icon, the header mark, the README logo and the website now share one icon: a deep-space squircle with three orbits, using the status lamps' colours for the planets. Existing installs keep the old icon until you reinstall.
Fixes.
- The status page showed
undefinedas the scan path for OpenCode, Z Code and Antigravity. - The "ANTIGRAVITY" label overlapped its bar in the storage chart.
- Fresh installs get a current default model list in the proxy (an existing
proxy.jsonis untouched).
Website. There is now a landing page with a live demo of transfer, clean-up and the proxy: https://arvelvale.github.io/orrery/
Known limits. StepCode is read, deleted and resumed, but it is not a session-transfer source or target yet (transfer is still Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode). Windows desktop is verified; the macOS and Linux packages are built and tested in CI but have not been run on those desktops by the author.

Orrery 0.5.0
What's new in 0.5.0
Move a session between Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode, in any direction. 0.4.0 handled Claude Code ⇄ Codex; OpenCode now joins both ways, so all six directions work. Pick the destination on the transfer page. Each target is written through its own importer where it has one (Codex's app-server, opencode import), the original session stays in place, and the new session resumes in the target tool as one of its own. Claude Code sessions are read along their active branch only, so a rewound or edited prompt doesn't bring its abandoned branch along.
Screenshots no longer block a transfer. Images the target can't hold inline (screenshots returned by tools, and any image going to Codex, whose importer drops images) are saved as files under ~/.orrery/transfer-media, with their path left in the conversation. The target's model can open them with its own file-reading tool when it needs to. Before you convert, the transfer page says how many images will become files, or why a session can't move. Deleting the new session through Orrery takes its images along.
Smaller changes. Session transfer is now built from one reader per tool and one writer per target, so adding a tool reaches every target at once. A project path containing .. no longer lands in a separate Claude Code project folder.
Known limits. Tool calls arrive in the target as labelled history text, not as tool records it could replay. Hidden reasoning is not copied. PDFs and linked images still stop a transfer. Claude Code asks permission the first time its model opens a saved image, because the images live outside the project folder.

Orrery 0.4.0
What's new in 0.4.0
Hand off a session between Claude Code and Codex. The new side-by-side transfer view copies the transferable conversation into the other tool's native history, then offers its resume command. The original session stays in place. Claude Code → Codex uses Codex's own importer; Codex → Claude Code creates a new Claude session. Unsupported attachments stop the transfer instead of silently dropping content. Hidden internal reasoning is not copied.
WorkBuddy sessions. Orrery now reads WorkBuddy's local session records, including its own generated title, project, model, status, disk size, and token usage. Calls split across multiple items are counted once by message ID. WorkBuddy is read-only in Orrery; delete and resume are not offered.
Smaller changes. Session details can copy the session ID. The README now opens with a three-language app demo, and the frontend and cleanup code have been split into smaller modules.

Orrery 0.3.0
What's new since 0.2.1
Two more harnesses
- Z Code: sessions, tokens and disk usage from
~/.zcode/cli. Tokens come from every model call, title generation included, and each call's own total decides whether cache reads are already inside input, so nothing is counted twice. Size includes the model I/O logs and artifacts that sit outside the database. Read-only. - Antigravity CLI (
agy): conversations from~/.gemini/antigravity-cli, with usage decoded from each call's record. Resume withagy --conversation, and delete conversations to the Recycle Bin. A conversation that's open in a runningagyis skipped.
Deleting OpenCode sessions
- Goes through the official
opencode session delete, subagents included. Orrery still never writes to another tool's database. - OpenCode has no Recycle Bin, so in that mode every session is first exported to
~/.orrery/exports/, next to aRESTORE.txtwith theopencode importcommands to bring it back.
Model proxy
- Add providers, models and API keys right in the app. Keys can also come from environment variables as before.
~/.orrery/proxy.jsonis written atomically and is owner-only (0600) on macOS and Linux. Keys typed in the app are stored there in plain text and never logged.
Smaller things
- Tools that Orrery can only read (Z Code, your own registered tools) no longer show checkboxes or Resume/Delete buttons that lead nowhere. The detail panel tells you where to manage those sessions instead.
- Opening a SQLite database read-only no longer makes its sessions look "recently written" and blocks their deletion.
- The filter chips wrap instead of scrolling sideways.

Orrery 0.1.0 — Windows
First public build. Windows x64.
Install
| Orrery_0.1.0_x64-setup.exe | Recommended. Installs per-user, no admin needed. |
| Orrery_0.1.0_x64_en-US.msi | Same app, for anyone who prefers MSI. |
Windows 10/11 x64. WebView2 is already on most machines; the installer fetches it if it's missing.
The binary is not code-signed, so SmartScreen will show "Windows protected your PC". Click More info → Run anyway, or verify the checksum below and build from source instead.
What it does
Reads what your agent harnesses already write to disk and puts it on one board — it doesn't wrap, fork or re-implement any of them.
- Sessions from Claude Code, Kimi Code, DSH (DeepSeek) and Codex in one list, subagents folded into their parent
- Token accounting deduplicated per API call, split into input / cache write / cache read / output — reconciled against each tool's own ledger
- Disk usage per session and per harness, sortable, with one-click deletion (Recycle Bin or permanent; each tool's own index is cleaned too)
- Local model proxy on
127.0.0.1:8787— OpenAI and Anthropic shapes, streaming passthrough, so every harness can share the model you pick in the app - Instant cold start — the parsed index lives on disk, so a restart only re-reads files that changed (188 sessions: 5.5s → 0.12s)
- UI in English / 简体中文 / 日本語, following your system language
No network calls, no telemetry. API keys are read from environment variables at request time and never stored. Orrery's own files live in ~/.orrery/.

Windows x64 首个公开版本。推荐下载 -setup.exe(免管理员,装到用户目录)。
