Computer Engineering student at Kathmandu University, Nepal.
I'd rather ship something small than talk about something big.
Second-semester student balancing uni, hobbies and projects. Most of my
time outside class goes into SmartAttendance — a face-recognition
attendance system I'm building with a small team — plus whatever
tool I've decided I need that week.
python c++ click sqlite opencv osascript git linux uv
SmartAttendance · c++, opencv
Taking a face-recognition attendance prototype and turning it into
something a university could actually use: per-subject tracking,
schedule-based auto-detection, attendance alerts. I lead integration —
reviewing and merging every PR across a five-person team.
asciiContributionHeatmap · python, gitHub actions
A system that allows you to generate a retro ASCII + SVG
GitHub contribution heatmap and auto-insert it into your README
This is mostly the same system used in this README.md too with some tweaks.
CompLab.exe · react.js, vite, gitHub pages
A C++ lab exam practice site. It provides a question bank with difficulty tabs,
an in-browser code editor, and real C++ execution against hidden test cases.

Everything on this page is generated locally—nothing is fetched from a
third-party server. ascii.svg is simply plain-text artwork, while the
stat graphics and section headers are produced by a scheduled GitHub Action
that queries the GitHub GraphQL API once a day and commits changes only
when the output differs.
The SVGs use SMIL animations because GitHub strips JavaScript from
README files. Since everything is generated within the repository,
there are no external assets that can fail, disappear, or run into
rate limits. The section headings are SVGs for a similar reason:
GitHub also removes custom CSS, making images the only reliable way to
preserve the intended typography.
The typeface is JetBrains Mono, subsetted to include
only the glyphs each graphic requires and embedded directly as Base64
to keep every asset self-contained.
