This release brings major customization upgrades — giving you full control over which categories appear, how tabs are ordered, how lists are displayed, and smarter data integrity when importing.

Feature Description
Modular Feature Toggles Enable or disable any category (Words, Phrases, Idioms, Quotes, Collections) system-wide. Disabled categories cleanly hide from navigation, dashboard stats, quick actions, entry forms, and search filters.
Custom Tab Ordering Drag-and-drop tab reordering via ReorderableListView in Settings → Navigation & Features. Settings remains pinned as the final tab.
Nested Settings UI Settings refactored into a clean root page with dedicated sub-pages: Appearance, Navigation & Features, Tags, and Data.
Per-Tab Sorting Sort each category tab independently — Newest First, Oldest First, A–Z, or Z–A.
Global List Density Choose between Compact, Comfortable, and Detailed display options for entry cards across all lists.
Collection-Aware Duplicate Detection Smarter duplicate checks at save time — validates term + type + collection membership to avoid false positives across different collections.
CSV Collection Preservation CSV export/import now preserves collection names, creates missing collections, and reuses existing ones on import.
OpenSpec Architecture Docs All system capabilities and behavioral constraints formally documented under openspec/specs/.

🔧 Changed

  • Router Shell Integration — Moved /collections route inside ShellRoute so bottom navigation stays visible on the Collections screen.
  • Default Launch Tab Storage — Migrated launch tab preference from integer indices to route path strings, with automatic first-launch migration and fallback logic.
  • Dynamic FanOut FAB — Refactored FanOutFab to a ConsumerStatefulWidget that dynamically filters options based on active feature flags.
  • Updated Launcher Icons — Refreshed native Android launcher icons.
