First release under the name Tmux Sidebar — a fork of
ZeroRegister/vscode-tmux-manager 0.2.0.

Highlights:

  • Windows support via psmux; WSL/SSH/container remotes keep using tmux on that machine.
  • Create form for sessions, windows and 4-direction splits: name, working directory, and what to run.
  • Program launcher: shells, REPLs, AI tools (claude, codex, gemini, aider), git TUIs or any typed command — only installed programs are offered.
  • Settings page: auto-refresh, terminal location, fully editable program list; global or per-workspace.
  • tmux runs as the terminal's main process; attach failures keep the tab open with the reason.
  • No more errors with zero sessions, duplicate terminals, or flickering refreshes.
