To add a new category to your directory click the Add Category link above the list of available categories.
- Name - Name of the category.
- Parent - Parent category of the category being added/edited.
Note: Setting a parent value for a category will make it a child category. Child categories are grouped, alphabetically, under their parent category in both the public calendar and admin console.
Available categories are displayed by sort order, grouped by Parent/Children. Aside each category are two icons:
- Edit Category - Click this icon to edit the Category.
- Delete Category - Click this icon to delete the category. (May cause Orphan Events.)
When editing a category it's current name within the Available Category list will be displayed in bold.
When you have completed your changes click the “Save Category” button to save the category.
