Newsletter Queue

The newsletter queue contains completed, in progress and approved newsletters waiting to be sent.

Newsletters are listed by creation date with the most recently created newsletters first.

Browsing the Queue

Newsletters are grouped by status; In Progress and Complete.

• In Progress - Includes all newsletters that are in the progress of being sent, have been approved, or that are paused, and waiting to be sent.
• Complete - Includes all completed newsletters.

Searching

To prune the newsletter list and locate specific newsletters you can enter a search criteria into the search textbox and click the “Search Newsletters” button.

Note: Newsletter search supports the same MySQL Fulltext operators as Event Search and matches against both the Subject and Custom Message used for the newsletter.

Managing Newsletters

The tools available for a newsletter vary depending on it's status.

In Progress

• Send (Resume Sending) Newsletter - Click this icon to begin, or resume, Sending Newsletters.
• Pause Sending - Click this icon to pause the sending of a newsletter.
• Delete Newsletter - Click this icon to delete the newsletter. Deleting an in progress newsletter will stop sending but will not unsend newsletter emails that have already been sent.

Note: Any administrator can pause sending a newsletter. If you are monitoring the sending of a newsletter and it's paused without your request it is because another admin user has chosen to pause it.

Complete

• View Newsletter Archive - Denotes Newsletters available in the public archive. Click this icon to view the archived version of the newsletter.
• View Newsletter Report - Click this icon to view the Newsletter Report for the newsletter.
• Delete Newsletter - Click this icon to delete the newsletter. Deleting a complete newsletter will also delete all statistics for the newsletter as well as remove it from the public archive.
