Newsletter Create

Creating a newsletter is the second step in sending a newsletter.

Select a Draft

Drafts are listed in order of last modified date with the most recently modified first.

  • Create Newsletter - Click this icon to create a newsletter using the draft.
  • Edit Draft - Click this icon to edit the draft.
  • Delete Draft - Click this icon to delete the draft.

Newsletter Review

After selecting a draft you will have the opportunity to review the newsletter settings for approval before sending.

Newsletter Summary

The summary contains statistics regarding the newsletter to be sent, including:

  • The number of subscribers who will receive the newsletter.
  • The number of events that will be included in the newsletter.

Note: Event count includes all available categories, the number of events will be fewer for subscribers who have not selected all categories in their subscription settings.

Settings

These settings can be modified by editing the draft prior to creating the newsletter.

Custom Message

The custom message can be modified by editing the draft prior to creating the newsletter.

If the template selected for the draft does not include the [message] variable you will be notified prior to approving the newsletter so that the draft/template can be edited as needed.

Newsletter Approval

After reviewing the settings of the newsletter to be created you can approve the newsletter and send it later, or approve it for immediate sending.

  • Approve - Approve the newsletter and add it to the Newsletter Queue.
  • Approve & Send Now - Approve the newsletter and proceed directly to Sending Newsletters
  • Cancel - Cancel approval and return to draft list to edit a draft for approval. Now newsletter will be created if the process is canceled now.
