Take Control — power-user release.

What's new

  • Pause scrobbling — quick menu in Settings → Activity for 30 min / 1 hr / 3 hrs / until tomorrow / indefinitely. Menu bar icon and status row reflect paused state with an inline Resume button.
  • Ignored artists & tracks — Settings → Playback → Ignored list. Per-rule scope (artist or track), exact (case-insensitive substring) or NSRegularExpression mode.
  • Custom scrobble threshold — override Last.fm's 50% / 4-minute defaults with two sliders. Reset button restores defaults when modified.
  • Smart content filter — skip podcasts, audiobooks, and music videos by media kind. Podcasts and audiobooks are filtered by default; music videos are scrobbled.
  • Un-love — heart button now toggles. Previously could only love; track.unlove now reverses.
  • Manual "Submit now" button in Settings → Activity → Queue. Wakes the flush loop immediately instead of waiting up to 30 seconds.
  • More menu bar badges — Podcast (mic), Audiobook (book), Music Video (video) origins each get their own tinted badge in the dropdown.

Behind the scenes

  • Engine now consults user settings + ignore rules at both Now Playing time and enqueue time
  • 8 test suites pass: added IgnoreRulesTests (8 tests) and UserScrobbleSettingsTests (7 tests)
  • publish-release.sh no longer emits a duplicate length= attribute on the appcast enclosure tag
