Gitstead v0.3.0

Gitten is now Gitstead. The project, Go module, executable, Homebrew cask, and container image use the new name.

Configuration now uses GITSTEAD_* environment variables and the gitstead directories under the XDG config, data, and cache roots. The Nix option is programs.gitstead.

For existing installations:

1. Stop the old background schedule with gitten install-agent --uninstall before upgrading.

2. Preserve a backup, move the existing config/data/cache directories to their gitstead equivalents, and update explicit paths, hook variables, and shell integration in your configuration.

3. Existing local backup refs remain under refs/gitten/. In each managed repository, copy them into the new namespace before using Gitstead's backup listing or restore commands. This transaction refuses to overwrite existing destination refs and retains the original refs:

   git for-each-ref --format='create refs/gitstead/%(refname:strip=2) %(objectname)' refs/gitten/ | git update-ref --stdin

4. Review explicit remote-sync namespace and branch settings, then run gitstead config --validate and gitstead doctor. Reinstall the background schedule and shell integration with Gitstead after checking the new configuration.

The repository's branches and historical tags were rewritten for the new name and signed. Existing source checkouts should be recloned from https://github.com/ashtonian/gitstead; do not merge the old history back into the rewritten branches. Pre-rename Gitten releases have been retired.

Builds use Go 1.27.3, including its standard-library security fixes.
