Pits n' Giggles v4.3.0
This release reworks how overlays are managed and reset, upgrades the power unit overlay with live harvest power display, and brings a major refresh to the save viewer dashboard.
Overlay Settings and Management
- Overlays now have a dedicated settings page, with each overlay grouped behind an enable/disable toggle, a preview image, and its own expandable options.
- Right-clicking the reset button on any overlay opens a menu of your enabled overlays, letting you reset just one at a time instead of all of them. Left-click still resets everything, now behind a confirmation prompt.
- Several overlays previously locked inside the multi-function display (MFD) can now also run as standalone, movable windows with their own title bar toggle.
MFD pages flexibility
- Currently available pages in the MFD can now also be used as standalone overlays
Power Unit Overlay
- Now estimates and displays instantaneous MGU-K (and legacy MGU-H) harvest power, alongside total output, ICE/MGU-K split, engine temperature, and ERS deployment mode. Toggle it in Overlays -> Power Unit -> Display harvest info in power unit overlay, and tune its responsiveness under Prediction -> Harvest power smoothing.
- Added an animated harvest limit progress bar with a "HARVESTING" indicator while active, and a distinct indicator once the per-lap limit is reached.
- Fixed a transparent-background bug that showed a black square behind the overlay's rounded corners.
Other HUD Improvements
- Track radar display range is now configurable under Overlays -> Track Radar -> Track radar display range in metres.
- Pit limiter status is now shown in the main HUD overlay.
- Fixed the HUD fuel amount getting stuck on a stale value if a practice, qualifying, or time trial session was played after a race session.
Launcher
- The launcher now blocks a second instance of the app from starting, showing an "already running" message instead, regardless of which folder it's launched from.
Save Viewer (thanks to Fabrizio for this)
- Revamped dashboard - a redesigned layout with a results hero, insights, and rivals sections, plus a demo mode so you can explore the viewer without loading your own data.
- F1 26 support - session exports from F1 26 can now be loaded and analyzed.
- Smarter strategy recommendations - the track view now suggests pit strategies once enough stints have been run to give it the data to work with.
- Better fuel calculations - recommended fuel figures are now more accurate.
- Race control event history - review the full timeline of race control events for a session, now with support for filtering on multiple message types at once and viewing incident locations on charts.
- Sharper telemetry analysis - telemetry is now scoped per game generation for more accurate comparisons.
- Track bests improvements - added a formula filter, formula badges, and representative lap times, with the latest game generation selected by default.
- Dashboard fixes - filters are properly aligned, DNF sessions stay selectable, and deep links/refreshes now resolve correctly instead of failing to load.
- Overtakes/Collisions - a pie chart showing where most overtakes/collisions happened on track.
