StandTerm Core 2.15.0
Core 2.15.0 adds direct Telnet device consoles and keeps the chosen Windows network origin in saved browser SSH profiles.
Changes
- Connect to device Telnet consoles without installing an OS Telnet client. The backend negotiates Telnet options and supports UTF-8, Big5 and Latin-1 display. Telnet traffic is plaintext.
- On WSL, optionally open Telnet connections through the Windows TCP helper when the device is reachable from Windows rather than WSL.
- Preserve the first-hop Windows network choice in SSH profiles, history and settings import/export. Outside supported WSL setups, the Advanced control stays hidden and connections use Core networking while retaining the stored preference.
Source and validation
Release source: aae74ef30747263a551bd0c5f3739f249b2c6cf3 (merged PR #29). Both GitHub headless CI runs passed. Local validation also passed the complete Core smoke runner, Telnet and SSH browser checks, and WSL-to-Windows TCP helper integration.
This is a Core source release. The current Desktop 0.5.3 / Core 2.14.0 installers do not include these changes; Desktop 0.5.4 remains development source.
