Pointer

Anonymous Function

Callback

When we pass a function expression (an anonymous function) or the pointer (variable name, declared function name) to a function as an argument, the passed function is called a callback. Since the receiving function will execute, or call that function at a later time; that is, it will call it back, it is called a callback.

Abstract

Call

Argument

When you learned to create functions, you learned that the way to abstract the function is to pass in the stuff that varies as an argument in the call of the function.

Arity

The number of "how many arguments are expected" (in a function()) is called arity

Non-Enforcement

the correspondence to the number of parameters specified is not enforced in JS functions. (link)
