Security: OIDC RBAC bypass fixed (P3-1)

  • Every SSO/OIDC user previously became admin. validate_oidc_token hardcoded
    "scopes": ["*"] for all OIDC-authenticated users, defeating the entire RBAC
    system. Now OIDC role/group claims are mapped to the existing roles
    (admin/operator/viewer/auditor) with the scope hierarchy. When no recognized
    role claim is present, the user defaults to least-privilege viewer, never
    admin. Recognized claim sources: a configurable LOKI_OIDC_ROLES_CLAIM
    (supports dotted paths), roles, groups, Keycloak realm_access.roles, and
    Cognito cognito:groups. Default role configurable via LOKI_OIDC_DEFAULT_ROLE
    (defaults to viewer). API-token auth is unchanged.

Spec-robustness: interrogation gate + assumption ledger (P2-1, P2-2)

  • Loki now interrogates the spec before building and records its assumptions.
    A Devil's-Advocate spec interrogation (built on loki grill) now runs by
    default in the DISCOVERY phase before the first iteration, classifying findings
    as ambiguous / contradictory / underspecified / missing. Opt out with
    LOKI_SPEC_GRILL=0.
  • Assumptions are a first-class, tracked artifact. Spec gaps Loki fills become
    recorded entries under .loki/assumptions/ (the gap, the assumption, why,
    severity, what it affects). A new council_assumption_ledger_gate surfaces them
    in the proof-of-done so "done" means "done, plus here are the places your spec
    was ambiguous and what I assumed." Set LOKI_ASSUMPTIONS_REQUIRE_CONFIRM=1 to
    make high-severity unconfirmed assumptions block completion (human-in-the-loop);
    default mode records and surfaces without blocking autonomous runs. Opt out with
    LOKI_ASSUMPTION_GATE=0. Degrades cleanly when no provider CLI is present (no
    fabricated questions).

Honesty: license claims corrected (source-available, not open source)

  • Loki is BUSL-1.1 source-available, not "open source". Corrected false
    "open source"/"OSS"/"MIT" claims about Loki across the product UI
    (web-app), the marketing site, and docs to "source-available (BUSL-1.1)". True
    statements about other tools being open-source are unchanged. The repo-wide
    honesty regression guard now also covers web-app and website surfaces.

Reviewed by a unanimous completion council. Each stream was built in an isolated
worktree and verified independently (OIDC 17/17, spec-robustness 22/22, P0 gates
non-regressing, local-ci green).
