Enterprise-grade dashboard overhaul
A ground-up restructure + polish of the dashboard so it looks and feels like a
tool teams already trust. The previous layout had two redundant project dropdowns,
several blank views (Quality, Analytics, Trust, Wiki), an over-long unpruned
project list, a leftover developer API-URL control, and a task board that lost its
column headers on scroll. All fixed, plus a full information-architecture pass.
- Navigation restructured: the 16 flat items are grouped into clear sections
(Build, Quality & Trust, Insights, Ops, Wiki) with a redesigned top bar. Every
deep link / section id is preserved. - One project switcher: the two stacked dropdowns are collapsed into a single
switcher; the project list is now pruned (dead paths removed) so it stays short
and relevant instead of accumulating every directory ever opened. - No more blank views: Quality, Analytics, Trust, and Wiki now render polished,
branded empty states with a clear next action (Run quality scan, Start a build,
generate the wiki) instead of an empty panel. Quality shows all eight gates. - Task board keeps its column headers pinned while cards scroll, and the sidebar
scrolls cleanly without cutting off. - The leftover developer API-URL input is no longer in the always-visible footer
(moved behind a settings affordance); theme + settings live in a tidy footer. - Consistent enterprise design pass (spacing, density, cards, light + dark) using
the shared design tokens.
Verified with a Playwright screenshot pass across every view in light and dark.
A standalone, offline-browseable build ships in artifacts/dashboard-preview/.
