First public release. A frontmatter-driven Gantt chart for NotePlan.

What's in this release

Timeline

• Bars derived from start, end, due, defer, and progress keys in a note's frontmatter.
• Live progress fill: explicit progress percent overrides; otherwise auto-computed from done/open task ratio.
• Day / Week / Month / Quarter zoom; today line; weekend shading.

Hierarchy

• roadmap_parent and roadmap_index nest projects under each other; sidebar drag-and-drop rewrites both keys.
• Chevron expand/collapse (purely client-side, persisted across sessions).
• Project notes' tasks appear as single-cell pills under their project, ordered by paragraph line index, indented by NotePlan's task indents.

Scheduling by direct manipulation

• Drag the bar body to move; drag an edge to resize. Range-drag across an unscheduled project's row to set start/end. Click or drag a cell on an unscheduled task row to schedule it (writes >YYYY-MM-DD into the paragraph).
• Ephemeral bars: a parent project without explicit dates spans the union of its scheduled tasks and any nested sub-projects (recursively). Dragging promotes the derived dates to explicit frontmatter.

Dependencies

• Project↔project via prerequisites: frontmatter list. Opt+drag a project bar onto another to add; click the arrow to remove.
• Task↔task via NotePlan's blockID syncing. Opt+drag a task pill onto another to add — source gets a ^blockID, target gains @after(<id>). Click to remove.
• OmniPlan-style arrows: tip enters the target bar's top (or bottom) edge.

Color

• icon-color: amber-500 (Tailwind name) or icon-color: \"#fbbf24\" (hex). Bar background, progress fill, and sidebar icon all pick it up. Tasks inherit their project's color.
• Color picker grid in the context menu. Changing a parent's color repaints every descendant.

Context menus

• Right-click a project (sidebar or bar): Open note, Add task at top/bottom, Add subproject (creates a new note in the same folder with roadmap + roadmap_parent set), Reset start/end/due/defer (only the keys that are set), Clear all dates, Color picker.
• Right-click a task: Open note, Unschedule.

Other

• Resizable Project sidebar column; saved across sessions.
• Hover tooltip on bars and sidebar rows with full title and metadata.
• /Add or remove note from roadmap slash command toggles roadmap: on the current note.

Install

Download asktru.Roadmap-v1.0.0.zip and extract its contents into your NotePlan plugins folder:

(or the equivalent path for App Store / direct-download builds). Restart NotePlan and pin "Roadmap" from the sidebar, or run `/Roadmap`.
