GTA III VR v0.2.1 for Steam Frame

Experimental release. Built from astromaddie/gta3-vr source commit b196483568a882506f6a0e21a6720ec73d8f93d7 for Steam Frame / Lepton, ARM64.

Changes

Hold A for about half a second when a native flyby camera is ready to skip a supported cutscene. The progress ring fills clockwise; releasing A cancels. The ending shot (“End”) and scenes without a ready flyby camera remain unskippable.

Install

In SteamOS Devkit Client, set Name to GTA3VR, Start Command to GTA3VR-v0.2.1-SteamFrame-arm64.apk, and Runtime to Android. Install your owned GTA III PC version through Steam on Frame (app 12100), or use the bundled copy-owned-gamedata.sh with a local PC install and copy its output to ~/Documents/GTA3VR/gamedata. No game media is included.

EXPERIMENTAL — 0.1.0. These are personal-use ports, shared as they are.

First prebuilt standalone Steam Frame APK. Download the install ZIP for the APK, install helper and licenses. Upload it through SteamOS Devkit Client as an Android title named GTA3VR, with the APK filename as the start command. Launch it from your Steam library.

You need your own PC GTA III game files. Install the Steam version on the Frame (app 12100), or use the bundled copy-owned-gamedata.sh with your PC installation and copy its output to ~/Documents/GTA3VR/gamedata. The helper reads your local files and downloads no game data.

The game uses original PC files as the fallback. Port-specific button art, custom labels, Neo texture enhancements and the added freeroam script are omitted from this download. The ARM64 build, signature, alignment and helper checks passed.
