Version 3.5.0

This is a minor release for the ASU Divi child theme.

Version 3.5.0 removes the cookie consent package from the child theme. ASU is transitioning to deployment of the cookie consent package via the "global" GTM container for the university, so there is no longer a need to load it independently from NPM.

Version 3.5.0 also incorporates the latest package updates from the Unity Design system into the child theme. Among the package updates is a reduced image size for the "repeatedly ranked" graphic in the global footer. Current as of March 2025.

This is a minor release for the ASU Divi child theme.

Version 3.4.0 incorporates the latest package updates from the Unity Design system into the child theme. Among the package updates is a replacement graphic for the "repeatedly ranked" graphic in the global footer. Current as of November 2024.

Version 3.3.1

Continuing to provide minor updates to ASU Divi.

Version 3.3.0 incorporated a a new build process in the child theme from gulp-wp. Worked from develop branch for a while as this improvement was tested in other places.

Version 3.3.1 adds the following minor CSS corrections.

• Addressed box shadow boundary issues with highlight-color classes for headings.
• Added hover state to contribute button in the footer.

3.0.11 - New innovation lockup graphic, footer.php

Updated the innovation footer graphic to the 2023 edition. Eight years running!

3.0.9 - Changes to Global Footer

Notes:

• Added a COVID-19 related link to the legal section of the global footer. (Gray bar.)
• Updated innovation banner to the latest image asset from UDS-Bootstrap.
• Adjusted markup to ensure that banner remains on the right side of the gold bar on desktop.

3.0.8 - Performance issues

Removes ad word tracking scripts from the header.

• Due to the way that asu-hub-analytics-tracking-code.php was being enqueued (or not enqueued), a couple of these scripts ended up being loaded in various parts of the <body>, not just immediately below the <body> tag as was intended.
• One such scenario invalidated a CSS rule intended to correctly position the content of the page under the fixed ASU header.

Good riddance. :-)

3.0.7 - Minor fixes

• Added favicon script and assets from UDS-WordPress theme for proper handling of these requests.
• Fixed highlight-gold SASS rule which switched the background/foreground colors for that class.

3.0.6 - Added cookie consent

• Adds the ASU cookie consent package to the theme.
• Addresses a CSS formatting concern with lists of items in a sidebar.

3.0.4

Addresses two additional issues in the ASU Divi child theme.

• The mobile menu functioned inconsistently due to the header not being position:fixed across the top of the page. Fixed.
• Temporarily removed the footer accordion menus from displaying on mobile via css. (Click events to expand the accordions fire Divi events instead of Bootstrap events.)

3.0.2 - Fixes typography setting

This release adjusts the line-height setting that was incorrectly applied to heading tags.
