what's new

pane capture to file

• new pane:capture menu action and prefix H keybinding to save pane scrollback to a file
• template paths support tmux format variables (#{session_name}, #{window_index}, etc.) and strftime tokens (%Y, %m, %d, etc.)
• trailing whitespace and blank lines are automatically stripped from captured output

tmux option fallback

• all configuration settings (format, filter, switch-current, footer) now fall back to @tmux-popup-control-* tmux server options when the corresponding env var is unset
• configure in tmux.conf via set -g @tmux-popup-control-session-format "..." as an alternative to env vars

keybindings

• added prefix C-s / prefix C-r for session save / restore-from shortcuts
• added prefix H for pane capture to file
• all keybindings are configurable via env vars and @tmux-popup-control-key-* tmux options
• main.tmux now batch-reads all tmux options in a single call instead of per-keybinding

session save/restore improvements

• hybrid progress bar with gradient blocks and background fill
• non-selectable header items for section grouping in restore-from menu
• cleaner snapshot naming in the restore-from menu

bug fixes

• fixed --root-menu direct launch of leaf actions (like pane:capture) failing with "no current pane" — action execution is now deferred until backend data is available
• fixed breadcrumb header for directly-launched leaf actions showing pane:capture→capture to file instead of pane→capture to file
• fixed main.sh passing quoted/escaped tmux option values (e.g. "\$HOME/...") as env vars, causing mangled paths in session storage directory subheaders
• stabilized golden file tests against cursor blink timing
