[1.3.3] - 2026-07-13

First-run truth, paste-safe guidance, and a workspace that opens itself.

Fixed

  • The demo contract is built from the declared missed interruption, selected by
evidence fields (never candidate rank). The prior positional selection could
present an unscorable stop-without-caller event as the demo failure, with a
talk-over of 0.0s contradicting the printed story; the selected event now
verifies scorable with a measured talk-over. Zero or ambiguous matches raise
loud internal-contract errors instead of shipping the wrong moment.
  • Every example command hotato prints is runnable as-is on one line, across the
demo next steps, setup/init scaffolds, scan/fixture/loop/investigate hints,
and all help epilogs: angle-bracket placeholders became concrete values or
bracket-free names, backslash line-continuations were joined, and inline
shell comments moved to prose. A guard test now walks the guided surfaces
and the full help tree to keep them paste-safe.

Changed

  • hotato serve opens the browser to the working token-carrying URL on start
(--no-open or a non-interactive terminal skips it), prints that URL
prominently, and greets a token-less visit with a short landing page that
explains how to get in. The five views were polished; access stays
    token-gated and read-only.
  • README, docs, and the CLI first-run screen state capabilities from strength:
boundary claims were rewritten as what each mechanism does, with genuine
scope limits kept and stated plainly.
