The good news is that there are existing commands for the functionality which you want: By default, none of these commands have default shortcuts, but you can assign your own on the shortcuts page of the the Preferences dialog. |

It is already possible to select audio by holding shift and pressing the arrow keys, equivalent to how it would work with text, which is quite neat. In the same spirit, I'd like to propose the CTRL+Arrow shortcut being implemented in the same way, aka jumping to the next cut in the selected/active audio track;

In the best case, it would also be directly compatible with Shift+Arrow, so you can easily make a selection from current position to the next cut via Ctrl+Shift+Arrow
