Is Augment Code a dead product?

Hi, I don't mean to be rude but as a paying customer I'm concerned that we're being left behind, compared to the progress made by Augment Code's many competitors. This repo hasn't seen any contributions in many months, and there hasn't been a post on the blog for over a month, the longest gap between posts ever. So, is it fair to ask whether the wheels are still turning at Augment Code HQ? Or is this project on life-support? If not, can we please get some official communication from the team? At this stage I'm actively considering other options, which is a shame because I was really enjoying Augment Code in VSCode (augment.vim was always lacking but I had hoped things would improve on this front).

This repo receives automated deployments from our internal monorepo. You can see activity in the prerelease branch: https://github.com/augmentcode/augment.vim/tree/prerelease.

That said, no there isn't a ton of active vim-specific development at the moment, but please let us know if you see any regressions in completions or chat.

That explains why [github-actions[bot]](https://github.com/apps/github-actions) is the only contributor to this repo 😅.

Thanks for the link to the changelog, I wasn't aware that existed. I'll keep an eye on it for signs of life.

I totally understand if the answer is "nothing is planned at the moment", but would it be possible to get an indication of whether there is an intention to improve this plugin? It's very much a second-class citizen compared to the capabilities in the vscode plugin.

Nothing is planned at that moment but we would prioritize regressions.

We have some features / improvements we've enumerated that are plausible but I don't want to list explicitly. I think you're likely to see a burst of activity at some point, but given the above not for a while.

Compared to the vscode plugin I think there are also some features that don't make sense or are difficult directly in Vim. They just aren't the same type of editor. So you may see some of those show up as separate tools.
