Update Notifier

CineLibrary now checks GitHub on startup and lets you know when a newer release is out.

  • Quiet by default. Async check against the GitHub releases API with an 8-second timeout. Network errors, rate limits, and bad responses fail silently — never blocks startup.
  • Persistent toast. When a newer release exists, a bottom-right toast shows the new version and a Download button that opens the release page in your browser. No silent installs, no surprises — you decide when to update.
  • No nagging. Dismissing the toast remembers that version, so you won't see it again until the next release.

Install

Download CineLibrary-v1.6.0-Portable-Setup.exe and run. Unpackaged WinUI 3 / .NET 8 / x64 self-contained.
