Installation

Due to recent Android security policies regarding third-party keyboards, please follow these steps carefully to install AuraType:

  1. Download AuraType_Android_v1.0.apk
  2. Open the downloaded file and tap Install. (If prompted, allow installation from unknown sources).
  3. Important for Android 13+: After installing, go to your phone's Settings → Apps → AuraType. Tap the three dots in the top right corner and select Allow restricted settings. (This is required by Android to enable custom keyboards installed outside the Play Store).
  4. Go to Settings → Language & Input → Manage Keyboards (or On-Screen Keyboards) and enable AuraType.
  5. If Google Play Protect displays a warning during installation, click More details and select Install anyway.
  6. Launch the app, sign in, or start a free trial.

Privacy & Security

  • No Keystroke Logging — AuraType processes your keystrokes strictly on-device. No typing data is ever transmitted or logged.
  • Secure Payments — No payment details are stored locally or on AuraType servers. All transactions are securely routed through our verified payment providers.
