Contrast Equilizer Module post filmic, why?

What is the rational of moving the contrast equilizer module after filmic , outside the scene referred "work space"?. I never use it there. If I want to deal with contrast, ce qui est rare, I"ll use the local contrast.

This must be because that module works in the CIE Lab 1976 color space (not an RGB module).

I spent the last couple of days looking for further info, re-reading stuff read 2 years ago when I started using DT to see that people opinions are all over the place. My conclusion is that, strictly from a non-geeky point of view, just put it wherever you wish as long as you are happy with the results you get. It just happened that use a simple preset that slight raise the left side spline in the luma tab with the module pre-color balance. It is just adds a few more clicks to the workflow to move it where I know the behavior of my preset.

When I put my " geeky (yes, I'm a retired engineer) hat" I acknowledge that it doesn't strictly fit the scene referred philosophy. It probably just happens that, since I push the splines just a little bit and only in the luma tab, I don't see artifacts for the type of images I work with.

Note that for the moment, for my machine, D&S is not an option....and I'm only good at screwing up my images with the presets....:-)

Finally.....I know that if I were to print the image as a 4x6 /300 dpi all this local contrast thing doesn't matter but since we look at pictures on laptop. ipad you can see subtle changes (rrrr...so much to learn...)
