To use as a quick gamut compressor. Reduce the saturation of all primaries, then use color balance to make the image more colorful by pushing colors towards the limit set by the primaries module.

wouldn't that be a duplication of the same parameter from Color balance ?

No, because primaries controls smoothing so you can compress more from the edges of the gamut.

Bad idea. Not every primary needs the same adjustment
