SupaYatta 0.1.3
Clearer rows. Quieter Codex alerts.
Recognize your agents with inline logos and full names, get fewer background interruptions, and return to the right Codex terminal.
Improved
- Provider logos in task rows. Task rows now pair a small logo with the full provider name. Claude Code and Claude Cowork stay clearly labeled, and provider names remain visible when a long status needs to shorten.
- Consistent provider artwork. Provider logos now adjust to your display resolution across task rows, usage cards, island indicators, and setup and settings previews. Codex and Claude logos are slightly smaller in task rows.
Fixed
- Quiet background suggestions. Background Codex runs without a saved transcript no longer create task counts or completion alerts. Notifications from saved chats continue to work, including replies that contain suggestion data.
- Codex CLI alerts open the right app. Alerts from Codex running in a terminal or editor now return to that host instead of opening the Codex desktop app. Supported Terminal and iTerm sessions use the existing tab selection, while local VS Code can use the navigation companion.
Getting started
Run a new Codex CLI turn after updating so its alerts include the terminal or editor details. Older alerts without that information cannot select an exact session.

Your usage, at a glance.
Choose what appears in your menu bar and island, see the latest Codex reply, and move the island without losing your notifications.
New
- Allowance where you want it. Show Claude and Codex allowance and reported reset countdowns in the menu bar, floating island, or notch. Configure each place separately and choose five-hour, weekly, or both readings.
- Menu bar activity controls. Choose which Working, Needs you, and Done counts appear in the menu bar. The island keeps all three activity counts visible.
- Local token and cost details. See recorded token usage for today and the last 30 days, with a model breakdown and API-equivalent cost estimates for Claude and Codex. These estimates use available history on this Mac and are not your subscription bill.
- Codex reply previews. Completed Codex desktop tasks now show the opening lines of the latest AI reply beneath the chat title. Late-arriving text updates the existing card without creating another notification.
Improved
- Choose what you see during setup. Compare menu bar and island previews side by side while choosing your indicators. Provider icons and hover details make compact readings easier to identify.
Fixed
- Dragging from the hover-open island. The island keeps hold of the mouse gesture when its expanded view closes, so you can start dragging from the hover-open header.
- Notifications while dragging. Notification cards hide while you move the island and return together when you release it. Dragging no longer leaves cards tucked away or opens a notification on release.
Getting started
Change your indicators in Settings. Menu bar and island choices are saved separately.
Users on 0.1.1 can check for this release from the menu bar once it is available. Users on 0.1.0 need to download and install a newer version manually once.

More agents. Back to the right conversation.
Cursor and OpenCode join your notch, terminal alerts take you back to the right tab, and usage is easier to follow.
New
- Cursor support. Follow local Agent chats, see their titles, and get alerts when a turn finishes or a question needs your attention.
- OpenCode support. Track local sessions in OpenCode 1.18.29+ and 2, including completion alerts, questions, and approval requests.
- Task usage details. See how full the context window is for supported Claude, Codex, and Cursor tasks, with a clear % full label. Task context stays separate from your account allowance.
- VS Code navigation. Return to the original Claude integrated terminal or extension conversation in local VS Code with the optional SupaYatta navigation companion.
- Open at login. Start SupaYatta when you log in to your Mac. Turn it on in Settings > About > General.
- Check for updates. Check for future SupaYatta releases from the menu bar.
Improved
- Return to the right terminal tab. Click a Claude Code or OpenCode alert to select its running session in Terminal or iTerm, including the matching iTerm pane. Claude Code sessions in a terminal no longer open the Claude desktop app instead.
- Clearer account usage. Click a provider's usage row to see remaining allowance, reported reset times, and when the reading was last updated. Close details with one click. Optional alerts tell you when allowance runs low or a reset is detected.
- Claude usage in the background. When Claude Code is installed and signed in, SupaYatta can check its usage and reported reset times in the background. No separate Terminal setup is needed.
- Quiet when hidden. Hiding SupaYatta now quiets alerts, flashes, and sounds while tasks continue updating. Turn on Show alerts when hidden if you still want interruptions.
- Undo hiding. Hid the widget by mistake? Click Undo in the hide notification to bring it straight back.
- Setup tailored to your Mac. Onboarding shows the supported agents installed on your Mac, including Claude Cowork, Cursor, and OpenCode, with their brand logos. If none are found, it shows a few popular options.
- Cleaner Preferences. Removed the experimental Claude window-monitoring card from Preferences. Supported Cowork connections remain available.
- Less clutter in task details. Task rows show context usage only when it is reported. Missing reset times stay blank, and the red unread dot replaces the separate read checkmark.
- Easier setup and recovery. Check connections in Settings or setup to repair existing connections after an app move or update. Close setup and return later, or go back to edit your trial email.
Fixed
- Missing Cowork chats. Restored detection of chats stored in Claude Cowork's newer session folders.
- Missed Codex questions. Questions that arrive while Codex continues working now show that it needs your attention.
- Claude usage disappearing. Empty or failed usage updates now preserve the last valid reading and its original timestamp, so an older reading is never presented as fresh.
- Alerts dismissed too soon. If a conversation cannot be opened, its alert stays available so you can try again.
Getting started
Updating from 0.1.0? Download and install this version manually once. Version 0.1.1 adds the updater for future releases.
After updating, open SupaYatta from Applications. Connect Cursor or OpenCode in Settings > Connections, then start a new Cursor chat or restart OpenCode.
For exact Claude navigation in local VS Code, connect the optional navigation companion in Settings, reload the relevant VS Code window, then run another Claude turn. Existing alerts are not remapped. Remote windows and VS Code Insiders are not supported by this companion.
Background Claude usage requires Claude Code to be installed and signed in. SupaYatta reads the CLI usage display; sign-in stays inside Claude Code. If a fresh reading is unavailable, the last valid reading keeps its original timestamp.
macOS may ask you to allow SupaYatta to control Terminal or iTerm when you first open a terminal alert. This lets SupaYatta select the session's tab.
Cursor opens the Cursor app; selecting an exact Cursor chat is not included. Cursor's general permission prompts are not tracked. Usage and reset details appear only when reported; Cursor context is supported, while OpenCode does not provide a context percentage or account allowance here.
