BimGo 1.0.0
First public release of BimGo: first-person walkthroughs of Revit models, with live editing back into Revit.
Install
- Download BimGo-Setup-1.0.0.exe below and run it (per user, no admin rights needed).
- Windows may show "Windows protected your PC" because the installer isn't code-signed yet: choose More info → Run anyway.
- Revit 2025, 2026 or 2027 found on your PC? Keep BimGo for Revit ticked. The first time Revit starts, choose Always Load when it asks about the BimGo add-in.
Then in Revit: BimGo tab → Go, or open any .bimgo file directly. New to BimGo? Start with the user guide.
Highlights
- Live sessions with Revit: walk the model and demolish, move, copy or place families straight into Revit; changes in Revit refresh with F5.
- Standalone .bimgo files: share a walkthrough with anyone (no Revit needed), then push its edits back into Revit later.
- Nine tool guns: scan, measure, portal, comment, teleport, demolish, gizmo, clone, place.
- Review: comments as issues with markup and BCF, section box, colour profiles, room data checks, grids, clash detection.
- Lighting and studies: sun and shadows from the model's site, artificial lights with IES profiles, sun hours and daylight studies.
- Presentation: photo mode with 360° panoramas, bookmark tours, camera paths, MP4 video, kiosk mode for public screens.
- Controls: fully rebindable keys and gamepad support.
Requirements
- Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), a graphics card with OpenGL 3.3 or later.
- For the add-in: Revit 2025, 2026 or 2027.
Known issues
- The installer and add-in aren't code-signed yet, so Windows and Revit will warn the first time (see Install above).
- Sun and daylight studies are early design indicators, not compliance calculations.
- Full list: Known limitations.
