Reflector 1.0.0
The first release of Reflector, an interactive audio workstation that automates and inspires the process of sample-based composition by learning the harmonic structure of a sound library and corresponding arrangements.
Requirements: macOS on Apple Silicon. Signed and notarized by Apple.
Install: Download Reflector_1.0.0_aarch64.dmg below, open it, and drag Reflector into your Applications folder. On first launch, macOS may ask you to confirm opening an app downloaded from the internet, that's expected, and only happens once.
What it does
- Index your own sample library and retrieve harmonically compatible audio from any query.
- Two lenses: compatibility (what combines with a sound) and similarity (what resembles it).
- Transposition matches for candidates that fit once pitch-shifted.
- A multi-track timeline with duplication, automatic crossfades, and by-ear transposition.
- Arrangement-aware suggestions that follow your session as it grows.
- A galaxy view mapping your saved sessions by harmonic identity.
- Export the full session to WAV, or stems with placements for your DAW.
