gauntlets are milestone challenges that reward you for collecting specific sets of rarities - and unlock major features as you progress!

each gauntlet tier presents a list of rarities you need to collect. once you have all of them, you can claim one of three rewards:

reward	description
points	a lump sum of shop points
anomalies	a batch of permanent luck-stacking consumables
temporary luck boost	a short but powerful luck multiplier

these three systems are major late-game features - completing the gauntlets that unlock them should be a priority once you're deep enough into a run.

check the index - when a gauntlet tier requires rarities you haven't found yet, the rarity index will show them as "???" but you can compare what the gauntlet lists against your collection to identify gaps.
use rarity magnet (shop upgrade) to bias your luck toward uncollected rarities - useful when hunting specific rarities for a gauntlet.
stack potions before grinding for gauntlet rarities you're missing.
the global gauntlet often has a mix of rarity difficulties - start working on it as soon as it rotates to have the full 2 days.
claim rewards strategically: if you're about to hit a big potion window, claim the temporary luck boost for maximum overlap.
