As of December 2025, Avalanche CLI has entered maintenance mode. This means:

• No new features will be developed by the Ava Labs team
• Only security patches and critical bug fixes will be addressed
• External contributions are welcome! PRs will be reviewed.

🔧 Improvements

• Local Fuji validators no longer preseed their P-Chain database from the public archive. The download was removed along with the backup it depended on; nodes now bootstrap the P-Chain from the network (partial sync).
• Bump avalanche-tooling-sdk-go to v0.5.0.
