The four tools

Batch Renaming

Rename large numbers of files and folders at once, add, remove, or replace text; match by keyword; filter by file type; and reach as deep into subfolders as you like. A full preview and automatic conflict handling keep it safe. → Batch Renaming

Live Search

A standalone window that searches any folder for files, folders, or both, in the background. Filter the results live, then open, copy, move, or delete them. → Live Search

Selection File Edit

Collect files scattered across many subfolders into one destination, flattened, structure-only, or both, with a name-conflict list shown before anything happens. → Selection File Edit

Batch Data Generator

Create dummy files of any size, or empty folders, in bulk, with name patterns, date sequences, and a choice of sparse or fully-allocated files. → Batch Data Generator

Shared behaviours

A few things work the same way across ANE:

• Preview and confirmation. Bulk actions show what will happen and ask before proceeding.
• Background processing. Long jobs run in the background with a progress bar and a Stop button.
• Safe defaults. Protected system files and temporary lock files are excluded automatically.
• Non-destructive renaming. Renaming never alters file contents; deletions go to the Recycle Bin.
